Wow! What a beautifully illustrated tome. Excellent and detailed in every aspect of a historical "place" book like this.

This colorful book full of the wonders of the world, both man made and natural. This book has something for everyone, it is part travel book, geography book, and part picture book (beautiful pictures throughout). Some of the wonders of the world featured are The Eiffel Tower and Grand Canyon to the more obscure of the Great Mosque of DJenne in Mali to the Palm Jumeirah in United Arab Emirates. So depending on what you are looking for, I highly recommend this book!
