I borrowed this video on a whim. It was out of field for me.
I enjoyed it , good fun and total escapism. Down side ..Michael Douglas , he needs to be archived.

This movie was excellent. It had a lot of cool gadgets, excellent storylines, and it also had a theme about family relationships in it as well. Plus it had an all-star cast which I liked.

Some of the humor is hit-and-miss, but overall, this is a fun movie and the palette cleanser we all needed after INFINITY WAR.

I'm inspired by the cardboard escape chute ... Looking forward to Avengers End Game!

It was fun to watch until Michael Douglas started running his mouth. The language in these movies destroy everything. Worth a watch.

We found the movie very entertaining and thought it a bit better than the first one. We commented that their does not need to be another sequel two is plenty.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is a 2018 American superhero film based on Marvel comics following characters of the same name. It is a sequel to 2015’s Ant-Man and was directed by Peyton Reed. Let's start with the positives. The main actors, Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly, have great chemistry and bring excellent charisma to the film. Their performance and comedic delivery are what make the film enjoyable. It is lighthearted, which to some might be a welcome change after the heavy and dark ending to the chronological predecessor to this film Avengers: Infinity War. However, this lightheartedness may bring issues to the movie. I found it to be utterly forgettable, with a superficial plot that has little connection to the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). There were such low stakes to this film is was hard to care, and the villain seemingly could have been dealt with just by sitting down and talking with her. I also don’t like the focus on Lilly’s character the Wasp in this movie. In my opinion, Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man is far more entertaining and likable than the Wasp, and the movie should have just maintained a focus on him. Nevertheless, it is a fun one-time watch that any Marvel fan shouldn’t pass up. @Joaquin of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

Ant-Man and the Wasp is the sequel to the original Ant-Man movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Scott Lang is attempting to deal with the consequences of his choices as both a superhero and a father to his children. One day, he is approached by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym. Scott Lang must once again suit up to become the Ant-Man and fight alongside newcomer the Wasp. The mission the two are on leads to secret revelations from the past that they were not aware of. The pair find the self in an epic battle against powerful, unknown enemy. If you enjoyed the first Ant-Man I would recommend watching this movie. The film is lighthearted, fun, and exciting. This movie definitely makes for a good one to watch with the family. It is also interesting to watch Ant-Man fight alongside a sidekick. Events at the end of the movie are also important to the larger story. Overall, this movie was very well planned and the hard work put in this movie clearly pays off. Overall, I would rate this movie four out of five stars. @Sapphirereads of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

Ant-Man and the Wasp is an entertaining movie to say the least, filled with action and jokes. Scott Lang as the main character keeps the audience laughing even when caught in a bad situation. For a superhero movie, Marvel Studios can always deliver something enjoyable to watch, and I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a fun movie but doesn't want to follow the entire Marvel universe for the lore. 3.5/5 Stars. @The_Suspect of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

Really liked it... like the first Ant-Man, it is humorous in sweet and gentle ways, and there is a lot of imagination and wow factor in the way they use the ant and wasp powers... but it is all so PG-rated compared to the Avengers or X-People. Not that that's a bad thing!

The shock of this one was at the end when it is shown that these guys are also affected by Thanos and his mission... and then it kind of explained the trailer Mike had shown me just the previous night, about Ant-Man being the ultimate saviour (?)

Lots to look forward to in March and onward.

Very Disappointed with this so-called sequel. Seemed to me they did very hasty slap-dash job and thought audience members wouldn't care whether it made Any sense or not. Probably because so many of them ran out to see it with the quickness. How many of You want your money back? I didn't pay for it. Thank the Lord.

The title has a double-meaning! It's pretty alright, and the comedy is good in most places, but much like his B-tier heroness, this movie feels wholly inferior to Marvel's bigger and more marketable movies. Don't miss it, and you're sure to enjoy it, but temper your expectations.
